CoBiVa Awarded NEH Grant ... Again!

I am thrilled to announce that the CoBiVa has been awarded another NEH grant! This three year Implementations project will build on the previous Foundations level project and provides $349,931 in funding. This project supports the documentation of two sociolinguistic corpora documenting language practices of Spanish-English bilingual speakers in Texas (CoBiVa) and Arizona (CESA)

As Project Director (PI), I will work together with Dr. Ana Carvalho (University of Arizona, co-PI), Dr. Ryan Bessett (University of California, San Diego), and Dr. Julio Ciller (UTRGV, co-PI) to archive the interviews, expand and balance the datasets, and elaborate the websites.
